OUR STRATEGY

UDBN is a provider of financial intermediary, asset management, and advisory services related to infrastructure investments in Nigeria. Our clients include the federal, state and local governments, as well as local and international private firms. Our goal is to assist various tiers of the Nigerian government in improving their design, preparation and implementation of their infrastructure projects.

UDBN also aims at becoming the dominant provider and manager of funding for infrastructure provision for the Nigerian federal government, various state governments as well as local government authorities.

The recent introduction of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Act (PPP Act) also provides an opportunity for increased private and public investments in Nigeria’s infrastructure in areas such as ports, toll roads, in power generation and so on. UDBN therefore works with private sector clients to structure and package their financing needs for infrastructure investments in Nigeria.

In the course of our work, we aim at delivering outstanding service to our clients, while improving the availability and quality of domestic infrastructure in Nigeria. Our strategic approach builds on best practices in infrastructure finance as adopted in other emerging market economies such as Brazil, India and South Africa.
